I will start this review by saying if you are planning to use these as true drawers for clothes, it’s probably not the best option. I think it would work better for children’s clothes, but if you did put adult clothes in the drawers, I’d limit it to undergarments, socks, and maybe t shirts. The drawers are shallow. In addition to being shallow they are a pain to assemble, it’s the most time consuming part of the assembly process, so just be prepared. I separated the pieces because my bedroom wall wasn’t long enough to hold all three side by side, I used the middle piece with the glass doors as a small cabinet at the entryway of the house. Either way I’ve gotten lots of compliments on the set! I’m giving it 5 stars because I was using it mostly for aesthetic purposes, and the middle piece is great for extra storage. We ordered this for a bedroom remodel. It was super protected in shipping and so beautiful and sturdy. My only complaint is that, after using for a period of time, we noticed the center was not raised enough and seemed to be slightly sagging. All corner posts were already adjusted as low as possible and the center was raised, so we added a small piece of wood under the middle to lift it a bit more and it is straight/level again.. Kristen. I was really happy to find a tall cabinet style here that fits my decorating needs. But after installation, I found that the glass doors just wouldnt close properly. Its a quality issue—the magnets arent strong enough to hold the doors against the front frame. This left me quite disappointed. Very cute dressser!!! Smallish in size, nice color. The dressser comes all in pieces in flat boxes -be ready for moderately difficult assembly. Value Overall a nice dresser for the price if you can catch it on sale. I also took the additional 10 discount for keeping the item with the drawer box damages. (I tried to get new boxes but they said it had to be completely returned, and I didnt want to deal with the hassle.) 2 of the 6 had some damage or weren’t well built, but for the price, it’s a chance I was willing to take because I love the visual. The drawers have to be pressed completely shut, but that doesn’t bother me since I read the reviews and expected that. Visually I would call it more of a mahogany look. The hardware is not cheap gold which I appreciate. Theres a little brass discoloration if you look closely, but no one would notice. I also chose not to put the feet on it so it could be lower for my son’s room. (The exposed corner technically doesn’t match the wood grain, but I’ll get some touch up pen to take care of that.).
