This ready to hang, gallery wrapped art piece features a watercolor map of the world. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frame less presentation of the finished painting

Compare your countertop options at home with an Ackland granite countertop sample before choosing the final surface. This sample lets you view the natural stone color, mineral movement, pattern, and finish in your own lighting and alongside cabinets, backsplash tile, flooring, paint colors, and hardware. Since granite is a natural stone, each piece can vary in color, speckling, veining, and movement, so ordering a sample first is recommended before making the final countertop selection.

Step into the Age of Exploration with this richly ornate double-hemisphere world map, engraved by Emanuel Bowen in 1744 — one of England's most celebrated royal cartographers. Hand-colored in warm antique golds, sage greens, and parchment tans, the composition pairs meticulously charted continents and trade wind lines with allegorical figures representing the classical world's ambition to understand the globe. Printed on premium archival canvas with a hand-stretched gallery wrap, this piece carries the gravitas of 18th-century scholarship into a contemporary room. A commanding focal point for traditional libraries, vintage-inspired studies, and eclectic living spaces that celebrate history, travel, and the art of discovery.

Terry O'Neill was one of the world's most celebrated and collected photographers. No one captured the frontline of fame so broadly—and for so long. Terry O'Neill's Rock 'n' Roll Album contains some of the most famous and powerful music photographs of all time. At the same time, the book includes many intimate personal photos taken 'behind the scenes' and at private functions. Terry O'Neill photographed the giants of the music world—both on and off stage. For more than 50 years, he captured those on the frontlines of fame in public and in private. Many of the photographs will be of David Bowie, Elton John, Led Zepplin, Amy Winehouse, Dean Martin, The Who, Janis Joplin, AC/DC, Eric Clapton, Sammy Davis Jr., The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Chuck Berry, and The Beatles—to name only a few. O'Neill spent more than 30 years photographing Frank Sinatra as his personal photographer, with unprecedented access to the star. He took some of the earliest known photographs of The Beatles and then forged a lifetime relationship with members of the band that allowed him to photograph their weddings and other private moments. It is this contrast between public and private that makes Terry O'Neill's Rock 'n' Roll Album such a powerful document. Without a doubt, Terry O'Neill's work comprises a vital chronicle of rock 'n' roll history. To any fan of music or photography, this book will be a must-buy.

When including the couple of one-inch spaces between the pictures, the total width of the map is about 60 inches, not 64.. Jonathan. Pembroke, MA. Sat Nov 22 2025
