Perfect, exactly what we wanted, but there was a chip in the underneath side of the particle board on 1 quarter of the table at the middle edge, about 1 inch in diameter. We did not want to deal with the confusion or hassle of returning it, nor dealing with return shipping. So we covered the open 1 inch chip of the board with black electrical tape so the little particles of the particle board would not continue to fall off nor make a mess on the pool table that the ping pong table is sitting on. The black tape matches the color on the bottom side of the table. Open tube design makes this mat ideal for all floor areas wet or dry such as pools, decks, shower/locker rooms, saunas, and SPAs. It can be used in low to high bare feet traffic areas. However, it may not be good for higher traffic areas where shoes are worn as they would be subject to much more abuse and would wear too quickly. Therefore entryways that may see more than 100 visitors per day should use a different type of matting.
