It works for holding single LP's. It is roomy enough inside the frame to hold an album with a sleeve and the magnet used to keep the lid on seems strong enough, but it isn't super strong so you need to make sure nothing is caught while closing the frame. The the frame, although beautiful, is a thin light wood. If purchasing for display on a table top, these frame cases will be perfect! If hanging on a wall, only include 3 or 4 inside with some light stuffing behind them. I would have given this case 5 stars if the front were made of glass.
