Enhance your bedroom look with this simple design upholstered platform bed

It’s a nice bed. I kind of worry about it’s durability. Also black may not have been the best choice because it gets dirty very quickly but overall I’m pleased with it. You might want to add some reinforcement to the slats like a piece of plywood. That’s just me. It says it will hold up to 500 pounds. Joan. Chambersburg, PA. Tue Sep 01 2026

This low-profile bed frame delivers the effortless bohemianism of a mattress on the floor without any of the social censure. It floats on a recessed plinth base, framed by wide sideboards that flow into two sleek bedside tables. A padded headboard + finished back give you lots of placement options.

The bed frame feels solid and looks exactly like the pictures. Installation was straightforward and can easily be done by one person. One thing to keep in mind is that if you have a high or thick mattress, it may make the overall look feel a bit awkward and take away from the Japandi style. We ended up removing the slats to lower the mattress and improve the overall appearance, which worked much better for us.. Anonymous. Fri Sep 25 2026

Align + elevate. This platform bed balances an easy modern aesthetic with thoughtful details. Crafted from wood, its clean-lined, low-profile design showcases a contemporary vibe enhanced by the natural wood grain variation. The headboard features a panel of linen upholstery to soften the look, while the subtle cutout matches the footboard for cohesion. An included slat kit + center support legs ensure a sturdy feel without a box spring – just add your chosen mattress (sold separately). Pair with the rest of the collection.

The look of the bed frame itself is great, and the color of the headboard fabric and the frame's wood, appeared true to the photos in the listing. The bed gets a slight hit due to the time and work to put it together. For a one person job it took about 4 hours to put together, and much of that comes from the need to drill all the holes for the slats, as you'll be drilling in to the bed frame itself, and you'll want to predrill those holes (and make sure you don't over drill as it's very possible to break through the bottom and expose the sharp bottom end of the screw. The tolerances around some of the screws and holes that are predrilled are also very tight, and getting the plastic washers on isn't the easiest. So make sure to have a power drill, appropriate drill bits, and a Phillips head bit, or else this bed could take you upwards of 5 to 6 hours to put together.. Richard. Jersey City, NJ. This is the best idea ever, I love it! I was not thrilled about a dark color so I took fabric and glue gunned it all around the wood pieces after I assembled most of it, their was enough room to do this and it worked great. I used a soft upholstry fabric and also laid batting on the broad surfaces. The mechanism works great and does not shut unless you pull it down. It's in my daughters room so it takes a beating and is holding up.. Holly. Ferrisburgh, VT. Thu Apr 16 2026
