Table LOOKS fantastic, and was mostly easy to assemble, however the legs fought with me every step of the way on 2 of them, as no matter what the threading just wouldn't line up, and it made it near impossible to fully put the main bolts in. I got it eventually, but I really feel like it shouldn't have been that difficult. I've assembled a LOT of furniture in my life, and this one while easy in concept was really difficult due to alignment and threading issues. As others have pointed out, it's not as dark as it appears in the photos, but it still looks really good, and seems pretty sturdy once assembled. The flip top feature is really cool, but be aware there is a small amount of "play" and it never sits completely stable, and pressing on one side or the other has the tiniest bit of give and you can hear the locking mechanisms clicking when you do so. I was a little nervous about how much manufactured materials are in it, but it's quite a solid, smooth and pretty table. Wasn't hard to get the skirt and legs on. Unboxing it and disposing of all the packaging was more work than getting it together. Couple of tips - get a hex drill bit (most common furniture size) and ratcheting screwdriver. It'll take forever with the tiny allen wrench supplied. Also, the screws can be hard to because of the way they're installed. Honestly, I was nervous when we ordered this. It was our first ever order with Wayfair and it was such a large item and very heavy. We understood the complexity of the order, delivery and assembly but we gave it a shot. Everything worked out great. This products packaging was exceptional! Basically triple layered carboard with hard fiberboard reinforcements at every point, very solid construction. Be prepared for a couple trips to recycling. The delivery team placed it exactly where we wanted it in our house, I recommend paying for that service as this unit weighs about 230 lbs. PLUS the 2nd box with the legs. . We started assembly with it upside down on aluminum saw horses and after assembling the legs realized we could flip the table over and install the legs from the underside much easier than installing them when it was up side down. If you install the base legs when it is upside down, you just added another 140 lbs. +/- to lift, to then flip it over! Use a couple pieces of 2x4, lift the leg onto them, then a couple shims to hold the leg up to the bottom of the table then insert the screws. Easy peasy! Tools: Razor blade to cut everything open and a 12mm socket and ratchet x 2 so the wife could help. :) Be sure to clean the surface, apply silicone and wipe dry then add the "sand". The unit does come with a small jar of sand but I would recommend ordering a larger bottle to have on hand. Great product, very happy thus far and it looks great in our newly remodeled game room..
