The good stuff: Looks as shown in the picture. Not difficult to assemble. Very solid with high quality paint job. Fits well in the space where I wanted it and with the shelves in place can store about 8 pairs of most (flat) shoes behind the two doors. On the down side: 2 of the hinges were very tight. the pre-patterned places to install one of the doors was slightly off so the one door looks uneven and does not close properly with the magnet. the fabric on the cushion is very chintzy- I will end up recovering it (which is not a big deal).. Looks REALLY nice and looks high quality, but constructing it was a pain. Instructions aren't well laid out, and have many steps put into each numbered step so it can get confusing. The screws also either don't work or poke through the other side of the wood. If it wasn't a good looking piece of furniture that fits the aesthetic of my older house nicely, and makes it harder to tell about the screws poking through, I would probably return it.
