Century 74 In Silver Jacobean Torchiere Lamp Filament Design Ecovt8281042

This floor lamp provides efficient ambient lighting for an entire room in a slim design. Simplicity shines in this look with a matte finish and a tapered frosted plastic shade. An Adesso patented 300-watt double socket construction allows for two crisscrossed sockets, each holding on/off 150-watt incandescent or led bulbs which provide approximately 3 times more light than a typical torchiere. A simple high/low rotary switch is located on the pole to adjust the brightness. This lamp has a black cord and is smart outlet compatible. Bulbs are not included. Note: Use incandescent bulbs up to 150w or dimmable LED bulbs (do not use: 3-Way bulbs or CFLs). We recommend using incandescent bulbs for best results achieving both settings of 50% brightness and 100% brightness with no flicker. When using led bulbs, it is common to see some flicker on the low setting (the high setting will always have no flicker). A dimmable lead will minimize the low-setting flicker, but may still occur.

Perfect touch for the look that I wanted. I wanted something somewhere between spare contemporary and traditional, which is usually to heavy/fussy for me. This lamp is clean-looking but doesn't look as if it belongs in a cold medical exam-room. I think it fits into the space with a more transitional style without sticking out like a sore thumb. I'm very happy with the result. The uplighting gives the perfect effect for the vaulted ceiling. The lamp is solid and stable. The on/off switch doesn't have the flimsy feel that many others that I've purchased had, so I'm hopeful that this one will hold up longer. I took one star off because assembly was a bit frustrating; I had more than a little difficulty working the electrical cord down inside the tube enough to screw the top of the lamp down completely - a VERY tight fit that took several attempts. But the result was worth it.. Innerchild. Missouri. Fri Jul 31 2020

It's nice -- sturdy, heavy, stylish. So why only four stars? Holy moley, the packaging. Worst Styrofoam I've ever contended with. Like opening a prank box. Explosions of fake snow sticking to everything. For the price, it should come with a cleaning crew.. Kerry. NY. Wed Apr 24 2024

The base of the first light I ordered was damaged. The concrete under the chrome which is the weight of the base started breaking off and there was a bunch of grey sand in the plastic packaging. Wayfair was on it though. They sent out another and accept for a few small scratches on the base, a slight lean, and some resistance when turning the switch, the lamp looks great! Exclusive 360 Degree Vintage LED bulb included.

Great lamp for the price. Far better quality than lamps on Lamps Plus. Dims well, switch is very easy to use and doesn’t feel flimsy. Will change our bulb for higher wattage (max 20W). Color of shade has 3 grey squiggles interwoven as a design and overall an off white, kinda butter cream. It works well in front of my blinds as the off color stands out. Loss of one star, base is sturdy but could be a touch wider and heavier. Overall great lamp for cost! Lamp poll is a brush nickel. Pic doesn’t really translate, but perfect brush nickel match.. I really like the design of this lamp, in particular the frosted glass shade. Having said that, there were some issues and that is why I only gave it 3 stars. The first one delivered had damage, specifically the glass shade was broken. Not surprising as the packaging is not very good. Just a thin layer of styrafoam protects the shade in shipment and is certainly not enough. Wayfair is great though and as mentioned, I liked the design so much that I ordered a replacement even though I was concerned the shade wouldnt make it through shipping again but I took my chances. Fortunately nothing was broken this time which is amazing considering the foam protecting the shade is less than an inch thick. The second one I received was obviously a return as none of the protective plastic was covering the pole or base and the very top part of the pole which has 3 heavy glass balls on it, was completely dismantled and all the pieces were loose. It took some time to put it back together securely. As for the rest of putting it together, the 3 pole pieces that screw into each other are VERY hard to put together straight. It appears the threading on the inside of the pole pieces is not well done so it took many times and often jammed at an angle which then was difficult to unscrew and start again. Once completed, it is a very nice light and is quite heavy so will not be tip easily as some floor lamps do. I'm still glad I purchased it as it was just what I wanted for my decor, but you need to be aware of the poor packaging and difficulty in putting it together.. Merrill. Winnipeg, MB. Sat Dec 23 2023

Perdita 71” Torchiere in gold. In all seriousness I’ve been searching for this torchiere for 5 years. It’s a dupe of a very high end lamp (think multiple four digits). The finish is a brushed, light version This is extremely well done and the sale price is laughable for the quality. Note that the two bulbs do not operate independently, they work together and have two settings, low and high.. Courtney. IL. Mon Aug 24 2026
