I got 3 of these light fixtures in matte black for my hallway and bedroom closet. They work well for 10ft high ceilings. Installation was straightforward, except neither the product page nor the instructions mentioned the yellow fiberglass insulation on the back of the fixture. I assume its necessary for insulation and code compliance, but it would have been helpful to know beforehand that I was dealing with fiberglass when installing so I could take extra safety measures.. Love them! When I bought my condo they had track Lighting in the office and it was so outdated, ugly, and a total eyesore! I had my Handyman remove them fix the ceiling and then put these in. I wanted something super flush to the ceiling so they didnt draw a lot of attention or make the ceiling feel low as it is a little bit lower in this room. When they were built this was originally supposed to be a patio and they enclosed it for additional living space. I made it an office which isnt completed yet! I love how they hug the ceiling and they come with two remote controls which is super handy when walking into the room when dark. I keep one in my living room and one on the desk. It also has a day and night on it for bright or soft. When I ordered them I felt they were a little expensive, but when I got them, I feel they are well worth the expense!
