This stained glass fan has to be one of my favorite purchases from Wayfair. It’s beautiful, timeless, and classy, it makes me feel like I’m living an old Florida dream in the early 1900s. It is the perfect fit for my Florida Room Guest Suite. I will share that the light it gives is minimal. The space I am using it in is a naturally bright room because of the wall of windows I have. For me it is perfect and sets the right vibe. I would suggest an additional lamp or two if you like a well lit room. Package was not damaged and everything inside was in good condition. I would suggest two people for mounting and read directions well for a successful installation of this fan. The lightbulbs in the top portion of the fan will be difficult to change when the time comes, this may be my only con in regard to this fan. Included with the fan is a remote for ease of use. You can also turn on two sets of lights with the pull strings attached to the fan, one lights up just the top portion and the other lights up the main light globe on the bottom portion. Edit. I had to edit this review because while the fan is not my esthetic, it is probably the best fan that I have ever used in my entire life. Its in a 18*20 foot room and cools so fast in the sweltering texas heat, I hardly need to use my mini split. Im going to buy another one for my son's bedroom. I dont think this item was in the right category. I wanted a black modern ceiling fan but the look of this one is very industrial. It looks like it belongs in a loft and a single guy lives there. Its very industrial and it doesnt fit the aesthetic of my house, which is more modern with a touch of farmhouse. This picture should let you see, the blades are metal. Love this fan so much! The blades fold in when not in use, so it looks like a chandelier. It is very pretty! This fan moves a lot of air, and has really been a life saver so far this summer.
