The power on the Fotile range hood is excellent. For most cooking, I stay on the first 2 out of 3 fan settings. For high smoke activities such as seasoning a wok or searing steak, the 3rd settings is more than enough to suck up all the fumes. The fan speeds are all pretty quiet. Don’t purchase!!! I had this delivered on 8/27/2023, I had it installed on the same day. 2 weeks later it does not work. The lights don’t turn on and the hood blower does not turn on. I would not expect this from. $2k item. I called wayfair, they say to call zephyr. I called Zephyr, it took a whole week to get someone on the phone. You have the longest hold times. You ask for a return call know one calls you back. I finally got thru after being on hold for 7 hours. Unbelievable!!! I finally got a technician to call me to ask me , what’s wrong with it”? I told him the message that’s blinking on the hood screen and he asks , so do you need parts ? What ?! How am I supposed to know. Oh my goodness. That’s why I’m calling him, to figure this out. Honestly save your money and your time. I will never purchase from wayfair again. I will update this review, the very helpful technician that is asking me if I need parts is suppose to come to my home tomorrow, therefore I need to miss work to wait for him. It works great! For the price, it’s a great value. The fan works perfectly, and as other reviews have stated, it’s not loud on one or two, but it does get loud at three and up. I do wish the controls were a little more intuitive but one thing I love is that the same controls are on both sides of the vent (one set front left, one set back right), so it doesn’t matter which way it’s installed, and you can access buttons from the left or right.
