Castiron Pedestal Base

Our Ignasas Pedestal Table Base is a round pedestal base made from solid hardwood. It is the perfect pedestal for an elegant to transitional style table design. It comes in three different heights - 29" (Dining), 32" (Counter) and 37" (Bar). This pedestal comes with a mounting plate, a bottom base and four bun feet. Some Assembly required; instructions are provided. It comes in two boxes. The largest recommended tabletop sizes: Round Table Top – 54" Diameter Rectangle Table Top – 30" x 54" Square Table Top – 48" x 48" The recommended max tabletop weight is 300 lbs – 330 lbs. Anything larger or heavier may require a second pedestal. Be advised that these sizes and weights are recommended. Please consult a professional contractor for the best results and specific project questions.

I should have been more alert when the product did not have measurements, and chose to do an online chat to find out. But the response was less than solid information and seemed like a guess. All bench/table legs and statuary should be raised up off the ground in winter so they will not freeze on the ground surface. Items that have areas that pool water should be wrapped with burlap or any absorbent material (old blanket/towel) and then wrapped with dark plastic, making sure that water does not accumulate and freeze.

I used this as a base to a water fountain in my garden. It lifted the fountains height plus it brought out a good look to it. I highly appreciate it and would recommend it for your garden needs. I used this base for a heavy quartz top also purchased on Wayfair — it’s perfectly sized for the 30” top, and is easy to clean around. It does come with leveling feet but we haven’t had to use them - they help the metal base slide around when we need to move the table For any reason (which we don’t do often but it’s nice that it’s made so it doesn’t scratch the wood floor. We used construction adhesive to attach it to the top and the whole unit feels nice and sturdy (with the caveat that any pedestal base will still tip if you lean hard on one side of the tabletop).
