Sleek, sculptural, and steeped in history, the Tambo Cylindro 60" Accent Floor Lamp from NOVA of California reimagines a classic mid-century material for contemporary interiors. This tall floor lamp features a vertical tambour wood design, paired with a frosted acrylic diffuser and weathered brass detailing. Originally conceived by designer Peter Morelli in 1969 - drawing inspiration from the tambour textures of roll-top desks - this refined lighting piece delivers an ambient glow that softens the space with warmth and elegance. A striking addition to living rooms, reading corners, or bedrooms, it stands as both a light source and a modern heirloom.

We had to order this a couple of times. The first one arrived damaged - not from shipping as Nova had claimed. It was clear that it had been repacked based on a prior return with defects - scratched glass shade, missing screws and damaged base. The replacement came in good shape, is attractively designed and fits in a tight footprint. The light doesn’t throw off as much light as we’d like but it’s nice. Nova’s QA on this piece is not great. Rob. Fri Oct 16 2026

Hand-stitched linen shades: Hand-stitched lampshades carry a unique charm and character precisely because of their imperfections. Each one holds the signature of the craftsman's hand, showcasing subtle variations that make it one-of-a-kind. Unlike mass-produced items, they reflect time spent in meticulous work and a touch of individuality that can't be replicated. The shade requires "fluffing" to fill the volume; they are unique in being asymmetrical. If you admire hand-crafted objects, you will appreciate the handwork in these unique hand-stitched shades. If you prefer mass-produced perfection, hand-stitched shades may not be the best fit for you, but we love the warmth and love to bring natural materials into our home.

Very nice-looking lamp. The lower gasket where the cord goes into the lamp came out while I assembled it, and it appears it will not go back in. Not a huge deal since it's not very visible, but a little annoying. The shade is a nice look, and I am buying a small hurricane lamp shade, frosted glass, as the bulb is more visible through the fabric of the lamp shade than I would like. Overall, a nice addition to my midcentury modern office. Guy. Cincinnati, OH. Fri Oct 23 2026

Each light is topped with a white satin shade containing an internal diffuser, casting soft, even illumination across wide areas.
