I’m not a super handy person and figured out how to build it by myself! Great labels on all the parts and just 6 steps. It looks great and feels sturdy! The only thing to note is that the screws on the final steps (into the slats) need a separate screwdriver or drill bit (drill recommended for ease and speed). This boucle bed is very cute. It looks just like the pictures advertised. The bed feels sturdy and was EXTREMELY easyquick to put together— it maybe took me a little over an hour simply because of the amount of screws you have to install. The color of the boucle is a fabulous off white, and the feet are a complementary darker wood with gold caps. The boucle material is soft, doesn’t look or feel cheap, and is easy to clean with a quick vacuumlint rollspot clean. Logistics-wise, it came in one tall, skinny box that was heavier than I could carry by myself. It wasn’t impossible to shimmy it inside alone, but it’d definitely be safer moving with two people given the size. The ONLY negative about this piece is the height of the headboard. First time online bed buyer and super happy with my purchase! In the midst of a bedroom remodel. Got king size in natural, arrived next day, no damage, had all parts, didn't take too long for two people to put together - appx 30 min; however, I think the spacers weren't the correct size because we ended up with two slats that weren't accounted for at the end, but we just respaced slightly and it was fine. I really appreciated the velcro for the slats so they don't move around when spacing - someone thought that through! You will also need a drill to screw in the slats. Headboard and footboard are not completely solid, but sturdy and the height is good for us. Also, purchased the Stearns and Foster Lux Estate Mattress and it fit perfectly. I absolutely love this bed! I was a little nervous ordering something like this online because cream and wood tones can look so different in person, but the colors are honestly perfection. The bouclé is the perfect creamy white. It’s not stark white but it also doesn’t pull yellow or beige. It’s just a really beautiful soft cream that looks so much more expensive in person. This bed is GORGEOUS in person. I wanted an upholstered bed, and i initially ordered anothe bed from anothe company, but was so disappointed after seeing it in person. Online photos make beds in the 200 range appear just like the beds in the 1000 range, but there is a huge difference when you see them in person. The fabric is textured and very high end. The bed fabric feels really luxurious. I also love the higher headboard which makes the bed feel like a 5-star hotel. Beautiful fabric, nice wood feet, and pretty solid construction. If youre considering between multiple upholstered beds, this one is worth the extra money. Trust me, because i returned a cheaper bed before buying this one! We like the bed very much. The frame is very durable and sturdy, and easy enough to put together. I think it took me alone an hour and a half to carry it all upstairs and start to finishing adding the bedding.
