Very nice pole and it is very sturdy. The top piece was not attached. Bought the Arcitectura Mailbox too which was missing 2 bolts. Contacted customer service and the agent was most curt and unkind in her correspondence and told me it was attached to the base. Great, sturdy mailbox. Looks fantastic. We now have by far the nicest mailbox on the street. It is pretty heavy (about 25lbs I believe) so make sure your post can handle it. Not a fan of the wood block for mounting. It will eventually rot. Would have liked to see a pvc product or similar.
