The top 2 drawers do not have the side mount drawer slides instead they glide on metal side rails and they are slightly smaller than the space, you can move them left and right but they don’t come off the metal rail. Great desk with a clean, modern look and plenty of workspace for remote work or writing. Assembly took about an hour.
