The pile is rougher than most carpet piles made of various plastics, but I got used to it in a few days, and found that I actually prefer it. It's a natural fiber, smells natural, and I feel good that it won't still be around 300 years from now in some landfill.. David. Montrose, CO. Sun Jan 18 2026

This flatweave area rug features an understated striped pattern that brings a relaxed, breezy feel to your home. It's crafted with a blend of wool, cotton, and jute, providing a mix of natural fibers for a varied and inviting texture. The low profile makes it a practical choice for high-traffic spots or areas where door clearance is needed. Its handwoven construction offers a unique, artisanal look that grounds your furniture while maintaining a clean, balanced profile. Plus, the reversible design allows you to flip the piece for even wear. We recommend pairing this piece with a rug pad to prevent slipping.

Minus 1 star because its a few inches smaller than 8x10. Feels thick under foot. Low points are 14 high, high wool balls are 1. You dont feel the lows though because of how tightly woven the rug is. Comfortable enough for sitting but I plan on getting a rug pad to make it thickersofter. Its very heavy, so it doesnt slide around much on its own unless you have pets running into it. Colors go from a deep red to a light pink with dusty rose colored jutetwine woven between them. Not soft to the touch, More rough just imagine youre petting rows of felted wool and twine and thats exactly what this feels like. This rug will be hard to clean because of the materials its made up of.. Amanda. Auburn, WA. Sat Sep 12 2026

Love this rug! I wanted something BOHO and unique for my new “creativity room” - this checks my boxes. It has an “earthy scent” as do all of my previous rugs with this material, I just aired it outside for the day and sprayed it with my essential oils - it’s all good-) Highly recommend!. Brenda. The perfect stage for the style of your ensemble, area rugs allow you to accent your room's style and soften hardwood floors all at once. Need to get a rug pad under it since it’s slippery on wood floor. It’s also not turquoise like I thought, it’s more of a navy blue. Lauren. Hampton, NH. Wed Jun 10 2026

From California to Santa Fe, the rustic-chic look assumes a southwestern vibe with warm, multi-colored stripes in a kilim flat weave, reminiscent of traditional Southwest rugs. These pure wool rugs complement urban, country, or lodge-style interiors.

Love how this rug ties my family room together. Only reason not rating 5 stars is the scattering of lighter threads in the darkest stripes. To be expected in a Kilim so I’m not complaining.. Michele. San Antonio, TX. Thu Aug 14 2025
