This came in the mail. I live in an apartment so I had to go down and bring up a 90 pound box from the mail room. As, FedEx did not even bother to bring it to my door. I open the box and it’s tons of pieces to assemble together. I start trying to assemble it together, and the holes were either not already drilled, or they were way too small for the screws. I packed it back up and decided to return it. Wayfair then charged me $91 to return it back to them.. Anonymous. Thu Jul 09 2026

This KAER gun safe features a spacious, multi-zone interior for organizing rifles, pistols, ammunition, valuables, and accessories. Its assembly-required design provides more usable storage space than many fully assembled cabinets. A subtle printed pattern creates a clean, understated look that blends easily into bedrooms, offices, closets, or garages. Fingerprint, keypad, backup key, and emergency power access provide convenient entry. Secure the cabinet to a solid wall using the rear mounting holes to improve stability and help prevent tipping.

Good basic safe for keeping firearms secure from children I’m satisfied with this safe for what it is. Assembly took approximately two hours, so be prepared to spend some time putting it together. Once assembled, it feels reasonably sturdy and does what I purchased it to do. The electronic lock is a nice convenience and makes accessing the safe much easier than dealing with a traditional key lock. The primary purpose for me is keeping firearms safely secured and out of the hands of curious children, and I believe it accomplishes that well. That said, buyers should have realistic expectations about the level of security this safe provides. It is not a high-security safe designed to withstand a determined thief, and it offers no fire protection whatsoever. I would consider it a good option for basic firearm storage and keeping unauthorized family members from accessing firearms, but I would look at a much heavier and more robust safe if theft or fire protection is a major concern. Overall, it’s a good value for its intended purpose, but it’s important to understand what you are and are not getting.. Liz. Virginia Beach, VA. Mon Sep 14 2026

Absolutely love this little safe. We needed something small for our master closet that we could store cash, valuables and a few guns for quick access. We searched and searched and yes they’ve much larger firer proof safes out there but we just needed something small to keep in the closet that would give us quick access and the keep the kids safe from guns stored in the house. This is an elegant piece that will fit in any space and does the job. It is super light. I’m a 5’5”, 130pds, female and can drag it around. But it does come with hardware to mount it to the wall making it much harder for someone to just grab your safe and run. And our closet is an elegant walk-in with glass cabinets and chandeliers so we needed a safe that complimented the space. This one does just that. It would also look beautiful free standing in an office setting. Overall if you need something for a small space this will do the job. Will it hold most southerns’ gun collections, probably not, but if you’re looking for something to keep things close to you at night or tucked away in a small space this is perfect in that application. It also came packaged very well, not a scratch on it, and easy to unpack.. Christina. Mandveille, LA. Thu Oct 01 2026

Very light cabinet. If you don't mount it to the wall, when you open the door it will fall forward. I can't mount it so I put 40 lbs of weight in the bottom at the back to keep it flat. It wouldn't be too hard to pry the door open if someone wanted in. Nice looking, decent room inside.. Bp. Way Upstate, NY. Mon Aug 17 2026

This gun safe is amazing. It is very attractive as a storage cabinet in any room. The details on the outside of the door like the filigree pattern on the corners are great. Then on the inside this has it all. A small compartment with it's own separate key for valuables makes them doubly safe. Included is a zippered envelope style container for documents. It is perfect for papers, jewelry or cash. This is waterproof too. There are a few different ways to unlock this safe and would definitely be very difficult for a child to access the contents. Once you turn the key it is still necessary to turn the knob below it to open the door. There is a fingerprint option too in case you want access the contents quickly. I love the light up feature when the safe is opened too. It will be handy to not fumble around in the dark. There is plenty of space for rifles and pistols and you can even modify the gun rests.. On the inside of the door there are several different pockets to keep all of our gear truly organized. Another great feature is an alarm after someone tries to open the safe too many times and fails. This is a very heavy, sturdy, well made and solid gun safe. There was some assembly required but one person can assemble this in about an hour. The instructions were clear.. Terry. Birch Run, MI. I was genuinely impressed with the packaging. Each piece was individually wrapped and had a metal frame inside the box to prevent damage. Unfortunately it quickly went down hill from there. I received zero instructions so an estimated 20 minute assembly turned into 2 hours. Each of the pieces are held in with just self-tappets while majority of the holes do not line up. Make sure you have a drill/bits because I cant imagine using the provided screw driver to drive the screws into place. I wouldn't trust this to keep my firearms safe at all. Caution: The cabinet will begin to tip towards the operator with the door open when empty.. Anonymous. Thu Apr 16 2026

This grey metal gun safe offers secure storage for a collection of rifles, shotguns, and pistols. Designed for home use, the cabinet features a digital keypad for secure and convenient access, and includes adjustable shelves to customize the interior layout to your needs.

This gun safe was packaged well. The instructions left out a few steps but it was fairly simple to put together on my own. It’s a nice small locking gun safe. This is good to store guns in so that no one accesses them but it is not a heavy duty protective gun safe that would keep an intruder from breaking into nor fire safe. I like that it has a top locking space to keep a pistol or extra ammunition.. Amanda. Hulbert, OK. Fri May 15 2026
