The shades fit nicely, and the instructions (though hardly needed) were clear and straightforward. The quality is impressive for the price. The bases have a substantial feel, the finish looks even better in person, and the linen shades give off a warm, inviting light. They look much more expensive than they actually are and fit our space perfectly. Overall, this was another great Wayfair purchase. Mine is the amber one. It resembles a lamp that my grandmother owned years ago. The edge of the lamp shade looks very much like hand- tatted lace. The difference is, this lace is solid glass and will not ravel, stain, or catch dust. My grandmother's lamp had survived the Dust Bowl in Oklahoma, and the dust from the red soil had permanently stained it. This matters to me because I live in Oklahoma where we have loads of dust. I will always be able to clean any dirt that accumulates on the lamp shade. The lamp is stunning; I also love the two pull chains and the ambience provided by the soft amber color of the glass..
