Better than expected. Seems to be well made. I hired a construction guy/friend to assemble it. He brought two employees, and it took a day and a half to assemble. I have only had it up for a month, and it hasn't been through any harsh weather. I will report if it becomes an issue. It looks great, and all of our Wayfair furniture fits under it and around our gas firepit. Nice addition. It is a good value. Yes, it is expensive, but the quality is good. I've purchased several things through Wayfair and each of those was a pleasant experience. This hard-topped gazebo is beautiful now that it is complete and it looks impressive in our yard. We look forward to many years of use. But, it had a couple of misleading aspects to it The estimated construction time mentioned on the item's site was grossly understated. Even with the help of a second person for certain tasks, it took me more than 4 times the estimate in the listing -- and I am pretty experienced at constructing similar things. The product's installation instructions were nicely illustrated, but several parts were mis-labled in the instructions and several of the instructions didn't cover crucial details. More instructions and more explicit details would have been very useful. Some instructions were so ambiguous that I had to try out more than one possibility, going back and re-doing certain things. That is the product manufacturer's fault, though. Wayfair's transaction went very well. They are efficient, speedy, accurate and responsive. One quibble: in the time between placing my order and receiving the shipping confirmation (just a couple of days), the gazebo's price dropped almost $100. Don’t freak out if the box it comes in has the wrong dimensions printed on it. The one I got said 10x10, but I ordered 10x12. I had to Google it, and I read that as long as the stickers with the QR code says 10x12, it’s probably going to be the right size. They just use the same box for multiple sizes. The color was true to the photos, on the site. The fabric is a good weight, and quality. The only thing that would make it better, is if there was more velcro on the tie backs, so it would be more adjustable. I had to leave it loose. Also, some thin ties at the bottom would have been nice, to help keep it from lifting as much, when it’s really windy, and raining. It rained after installation, and the water did bead up on the fabric, so it is water resistant, like they say in the description. Over all, it is a quality product! Great product we purchased the 12x20 said you will need 6 people for 14 hours, I did it in 16 hours by myself the only part I needed a quick hand with was putting up the 4 posts once I had those up I was off to the races directions were very clear few confusing parts but nothing that wasn't fixable, its sturdy and well built all screws lined up with pre tapped holes and it looks great at the campground, 3 hours after completing it we got a thunderstorm with heavy winds, we stayed dry under there, I was 100% leary of it coming from wayfair but I am impressed with it anyone complaining about it should just hire someone to build it because no issues seeing i did 98% of the building of it myself.. This gazebo is fantastic. It took my husband and a friend about 5 days to put it together. They worked about 5 hours every and the last day was just getting the fit on the patio and drilling the holes into the concrete to get it set and then hanging the screens and curtains. They did a great job and my husband followed the instructions fairly easy, as he was in construction and used to reading drawings, so it wasn't hard for him. Everything went together as it should have. I think one screw hole was out of alignment, so he made a new one. Other than that he had no problems putting it together. We love the size of it, its double of what one gazebo normally is. Gives us plenty of space for furniture and a fire table, and still room to add an eating table which I have not purchased yet. We love its wind resistance too. We get some crazy winds in the desert, sometimes 60+ mph, and we've since had just a couple days like that, and we have found it to hold up just great! You do hear a little rattle with that kind of wind, but not much. Its solidly in the ground and the parts are solid, holding together well. Can't beat this gazebo for its sturdiness and beauty. Function is awesome and I know in the summer we'll be able to close the curtains when the sun starts beating in any direction, and screens if the flies show up while eating. The Gazebo arrived and there were some parts that were dented in a few places either from the shipment handing or delivery. The Gazebo was purchased for an upcoming scheduled event and we would have it to enjoy future outdoors leisure, time and activities. So, since we have been waiting on the date of arrival, we had no time to spare to make a phone call to submit a claim and ask if we could get immediate same-day delivery replacement or log onto a computer to submit a claim to replace it and wait that process out. We had hired someone to assist us with building it that day so it had to happen that day. I must file a claim later because the brand new product should have been totally an excellent condition. A part from that the gazebo is absolutely gorgeous to look at. It took 2 days to complete. This gazebo is a game changer! Assembly is complicated, but can be accomplished step by step, and have at least 3 helpers! We receive compliments daily. Ours is one year old, it survived a western NY winter, with a few bolts shaking loose, but no big deal. The curtains are a bit of a job to put up and down, but really worth the effort. It’s really nice! Got a professional to put it together and it took a long time and some extra tools from the hardware store to get it the way we wanted it.
