As I mentioned in a previous review, I’ve never shopped for curtains before and was trying to elevate the look of my windows. Since it was my living room, I wanted something rich in texture offering an upscale look and these popped up. The color really sold me because I wanted to color block the room in shades of gray allowing the tone to travel up the wall to the ceiling. Made of 72% Polyester, 23% Cotton, 5% Rayon, textured for a linen-look with some light-filtering opacity sounded good and they really delivered. Plus, they are very well-made, so I highly recommend this collection. My only regret, I should have done a more careful search because they were less expensive elsewhere. I put these in my living room. The design on them is subtle, and I love them that way. I had ordered and hung the same panels and I liked them so much that I ordered 2 more panels to make them thicker. These drapes hang really well. The fabric is very nice, however, I can't say that they are room darkening because I can see the sun shining through them. But, I don't mind. If I close them, they are dark enough for me.
