These are very well made curtains and do darken the room against the sun. However, at the top, it requires a twist, then to bring a piece of material through the made loop and then make it look nice. I found this to be a bit complicated. In fact, I need to go back and redo one of the loops, as I made it backwards. I also wasn’t paying attention and purchased only one panel, so I needed to reorder a second one. It is not a set of curtains. It is sold by the panel. I am ecstatic over these Amherst pintuck curtains. I have been looking for curtains to match my comforter and pillow set for a very long time and finally found them. I chose the aqua, cream, gray and they are absolutely gorgeous. The material has a very faint sheen, are made very well, and will last a long time. The curtains have a white linen back so they will aid in keeping it warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. What I love the most is the top of the curtains. I have always had the pocket rod but with the way my curtain rods are, the curtais never went to the end of the rod which was a look that made me cringe. These curtains have slats that slide through the rod and can be adjusted to the end of the rod which provides a more cohesive look. I ordered two stationary curtain panels 20” x 108” in Walnut. The fabric seems to be of good quality and thickness and the color is exactly as shown on the website. However, I think that the pleats are a little on the shallow side so that the folds will not be as full as I would like them (only 4” between pleats). But, for a ready-made drape, I would say that the value is there for the money paid.
