I bought the blue tree version. The material feels ultra silky. I think the photo online makes it look amazing, but in person is more like simply beautiful. I loved the overall look and feel. Yes, it is very heavy because it is a blackout curtain; I doubt that a sheer, light blackout curtain exists. The further back you stand, the more the picture comes together like a Monet watercolor. I didn't notice the lemur face in the middle until after I bought it, which I feel detracts from it because it feels more weird than whimsical. Not sure I would have gotten it, but now that it's here I am going to make it work, especially when I pair it with the Makenna Adjustable Single Curtain rod with silver bird finials on the end!. I am ecstatic over these Amherst pintuck curtains. I have been looking for curtains to match my comforter and pillow set for a very long time and finally found them. I chose the aqua, cream, gray and they are absolutely gorgeous. The material has a very faint sheen, are made very well, and will last a long time. The curtains have a white linen back so they will aid in keeping it warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. What I love the most is the top of the curtains. I have always had the pocket rod but with the way my curtain rods are, the curtais never went to the end of the rod which was a look that made me cringe. These curtains have slats that slide through the rod and can be adjusted to the end of the rod which provides a more cohesive look.
