This was a breeze to apply. Simply shook the container to mix the contents and then applied with a paint roller. Avoided work during direct sunlight hours. Re-applied until the container was empty. This is a great little dehumidifier. We got it for our basement because our old one was getting old and starting to have problems. This one is smaller and a lot quieter. This is a nice compact dehumidifier. It's sturdy and heavy but doesn't take up too much space. The wheels and handle are great for mobility. One of the best things about it is how quiet it is in operation. For a commercial dehumidifier, the sound is very low. I don't have the ability to fully comment on it's effectiveness yet but can say that the reading changed rather quickly with a short test try. The local delivery company was prompt, called and delivered to spot as requested... So once it actually left the shipping depot, was quick and accurate... Just took quite a bit longer than estimated. I can’t say enough about this dehumidifier. It’s extremely well made. It performs better than expected and has replaced two 70 pint dehumidifiers in a very humid indoor space. It was difficult to find a dehumidifier with coils in the front (as pictured) and the direct drain house in the back. Very please with this. We’ve had so much rain this summer that this has prevented my basement from getting moldy and mildewy. I’ve pulled up a full container of fluid every day. Works great, & adding the pump drain line was a breeze! I used an unused TV cable outlet to run the line out side. Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports.
