I've purchased a few items from Wayfair in the past, but I was in the middle of moving into my New Jersey apartment by myself, so things were too hectic to leave a review back then. However, I recently bought a Portable Hemming Machine and am so satisfied with it that I finally decided to write one. It’s the same brand I used to own. Although this is a slightly lower-tier model than my previous one, the price was about the same. I bought my old one in-store, but it’s really hard to find this specific brand and model from other suppliers right now. Plus, from my experience, other places usually have slow shipping. Since I needed it urgently, I went with Wayfair again based on my previous good experiences, hoping for fast delivery. I placed the order on Thursday afternoon, and it arrived right around noon today (Monday). The delivery was smooth and remembering how well all my previous Wayfair orders were delivered, I really want to thank everyone involved, including the supplier. I set up the machine today and tested it out—it works perfectly and is just as easy and convenient to use as my old one. This also reminds me of a past order (mostly furniture back then) where I had to return an item because it wasn't quite what I expected. Wayfair's customer service was incredibly kind and handled both the return and refund smoothly. I’d like to express my belated gratitude for that as well! Of course, this time the purchase was absolutely perfect with zero issues, so I didn't even need to contact customer service. Above all, this item is hard to find elsewhere, and even if I had found it, I highly doubt I would have received it this quickly. Wayfair never disappoints. It was a truly satisfying purchase. I love this sewing machine. It sews beautifully. It is lightweight. The carrying handle makes it easy to transport. The instruction manual is well-written. It is such a good machine for a beginner. The presser feet snap on and off. Wow, so easy to change the feet. I'm obsessed with the automatic needle threader. I struggled at first, but kept practicing. Soon it became like second nature using the needle threader. I followed the manual and practiced many stitches. Single and zigzag stitches look great. The thread cutter is a game changer. These two items make sewing a breeze. I wish the presser foot was metal. It's cheap lightweight plastic. In order to keep it from sliding on the floor, I have to put a computer mouse pad underneath it. Just as stated in other reviews, no cover included. If you have the opportunity, purchase a warranty. I had a problem taking the bobbin out of the bobbin casing. This machine is not listed on the Janome website. No luck finding a solution from Janome. It was so frustrating. Fortunately, I fixed it. Because the machine was not purchased through an authorized dealer, the Janome warranty is VOID. WHAT!!! I've deducted one star because they should be transparent about the warranty. I recieved my POOLIN today!!! I love it. Interface is extremely user friendly. The User Manual is very well written making it comprehensible. I was able personalize a quilt top immediately, and the stitching reslults were phenomenal. Also, I tested one of the preinstalled fonts, used the USB drive, and the wireless function via institch, which all functioned correctly. I have not tested the sewing function, but plan to. This machine arrived in perfect condition due to great packaging. It came with tools, sewing notions, and some embroidery supplies that can be stored in a very nice case or storage container.
