This is my first stick vacuum, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I would give the suction 3 stars and the features 5 stars. I love the charging stand, I'm glad it doesn't have to go on the wall. It's also light and gets into corners easily. However, it doesn't easily suck up thing like Cheerios and chocolate chips that my toddler leave behind. That part is frustrating. I still need a broom to pick up larger items.. Douglas. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own another Shark stick vacuum, but it is not a pet version, and after my first use I now see why I should've gotten the model specifically for pets. I used this on my hard surface flooring and when it detected fur and/or debris the power picked up on it's own to make sure it was gathered in a single swoop. I enjoyed having the little light because as I pushed under the cabinets in the inset space there I was able to see what was there without having to bend down or sweep it out ahead of time. The battery was easy to charge and lasted long enough for me to do my entire first floor which consists of the kitchen, living room, dining room, flex room, bathroom, bedroom, and the halls along with using the attachment on my furniture and dining chairs.
