This awesome turntable looks like it came right out of your hip uncle’s teenage bedroom. 1975 is ready to rock and roll all night and party every day right out of the box. Unpack, connect the matching speakers, plugin, throw on your favorite vinyl, adjust the bass/tremble, and crank it up. Play 33 1/3 and 45 RPM records, Cds, or even tune in to your favorite AM/FM radio stations. Of course, we had to include a built-in Bluetooth receiver as well, so you can listen to all of your favorite digital music wirelessly. If the neighbors ever bang on the wall, don’t worry, there’s always a headphone jack you can use, but not without reminding them, “if it’s too loud, you’re too old!”

I only gave this a four star because the cover when I unpacked the box it was cracked on top and a piece broken off on the side - very disappointed. I live in NYC and I always see the FEDEX guys throwing boxes on the street as they unload the trucks no surprise it arrived broken. While designing this turntable, it started with a philosophy that less is more. Starting with the plinth, I wanted to create a more substantial look so I used a bigger piece of audio-grade MDF and wrapped it in handsome walnut veneer with subtle branding. On/off and speed selection (33 1/3 and 45 RPM) is controlled by one anodized knob that helps maintain the clean, understated silhouette. To help with rouge vibration that could affect sound quality, isolated the motor and use an external belt to spin the full-size aluminum platter. The aluminum tonearm matches the platter and is outfitted with a counterweight, anti-skate control, and removable headshell, letting you customize your setup if you don’t want to use the pre-mounted moving magnet cartridge and stylus. Of course, there’s a removable dust cover to keep the enemy at bay, a built-in switchable preamp and RCA outputs to easily hook this turntable up to your speakers or sound system.

Wow! This looks and sounds great! The only downside are the instructions, they are not very well written, but there are videos on YouTube on how to set up the Crosley C8. The speaker I sat it up with only has an aux cable input so I had to use an adaptor to connect it as the turntable only has the rca outlet cable. These are pretty nice to hold some of our albums. We got these to temporarily hold some while we search for one that holds 250(+-). The ones I liked were not in stock so we keep looking and/or wait. We went all honey, I shrunk the kids on our most popular turntable, the Crosley Cruiser, and possibly created the cutest. Record player, ever.
