Bought it for a 10 by 10 space and it kept the room UBER cold! My son would shut it off because the space would get so cold. I had the previous model and the door broke from opening to clean the filter. Therefore, it was nice to see they changed it to a pull out feature to clean the filter, which is better. We took a road trip from PA to SC last week, and I followed the pre chilling suggestions (set both sections to -4° for a minimum of 3-4 hours before filling) from the reviews.. I adjusted one section to 34° after I filled the refrigerated food while leaving the the frozen food set to -4°. I did add a few freezer blocks to the tops of both sections before we closed the lids. On the trip down we stayed overnight in a hotel halfway to SC.. To my delight our food was in perfect condition when we unpacked it!! Great lightweight portable AC unit that’s easy enough for one person to move around. The window adapter was a good fit and was easy to install. This is a good size for our master bedroom to keep us cool this summer. The one thing that caught me a little off guard is the user manual indicates it needs 115 V, 60 Hz, 15 Amp fused grounded three prong outlet.
