It was time to replace a 20 year old granite sink. We had looked for a couple of months and nothing had stood out. This sink caught plenty of attention due to two things…first, the design and second, the basket strainers in the drains. The larger side is the perfect size for cleaning our pots, pans, and skillets (we cook a lot). The smaller side is ideal for washing vegetables or fruits. If you just need to rinse off any dishes, a standard drainer will set right down in the larger side (or at least the one we have does). A standard dishpan will fit in there too! Installation is fairly easy if you’re familiar with basic home repair and plumbing. I have to do some tile repair, so mine is a little more in-depth. This sink is a wonderful choice for any situation. I highly recommend this one. It’s stylish, practical, and looks absolutely amazing! The metal finish is a beautiful addition to any kitchen decor! Nearly 5 year update... I still LOVE LOVE LOVE this range! The wifi feature allows me to start the oven while on my way home from the grocery store, cook baked potatoes left inside it or preheat from the hammock in the backyard. I don't love the air fry feature, I still use a different one. I bought a newer version of this range than a friend had and recommended and am so glad I did. This is our 2nd LG refrigerator. We had bought the first one ten years ago and it was excellent. The only reason we replaced it was because we didn't have a battery backup surge protector to keep it from going off and on until last year. It was still working when they took it away, but we had replace one part and figured it had gotten heavy use with our family of four constantly getting in and out of. I believe strongly in outer door to access drinks and other items. It is far more energy efficient than opening the whole door making the refrigerator work harder to replace the cold. The first model I bought was another brand with just a small door. After it I was not going to buy anything without the outer door. This model has a larger capacity and more shelving space than our last LG. It is obvious a lot of thought went into the configuration of this model. The LG has better cooling that other brands that we have owned. We saved almost two thousand dollars during a recent sale. Any LG appliance we have bought has given us excellent service. This is my first GE appliance; it replaces a Frigidaire model. I like the GE much better because it is quiet and stylish. In addition, I like the LED back light, the separate convertible drawer which I use to keep my avocados, peppers, and cooked turkey fresh. I love the water pitcher on the inside door. I love the app that allows me to control features on the fridge, and it alerts me when the ice maker tray is full. The app also records the ounces of water dispensed; I love it! I saw that some reviewers mentioned that the water in the pitcher is not cold; my water is stone cold. What you may have to do is turn off the autofill feature so that it does not dispense more tap water into the pitcher of cold water before you have consumed it all.
