This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. It doesn't feel overly trendy, but still gives a clean, updated look that instantly made my room feel more put together. The size (56") is ideal-it moves a lot of air without overwhelming the space visually. This fan is powerful. Even on a lower setting, I can feel a noticeable difference, which has been amazing for keeping things comfortable in my hot Florida house, without constantly adjusting the thermostat. It runs really smooth too-no wobbling or annoying noise. The LED light is another standout. It gives off a soft, ambient glow that's bright enough for everyday use but still cozy. And the remote makes adjusting settings so easy . I love that it doesn't feel harsh or overly cool-toned like some LED fixtures. I haven't moved it outdoors, but I love knowing it could work in a covered patio or humid space without any issues and 1 plan to add one there.
