With an automatic open baffle plate when the unit is powered on, it will open to a 90-degree angle capturing smoke and fumes before they escape. A large coverage area easily covers all burners on your cooktop guiding smoke upwards and creating a barrier to prevent you from breathing in harmful smoke and grease. It is closer to the surface than traditional range hoods, maximizing the unit’s speed and efficiency for maximum smoke extraction. Elegant touchscreen control with 4 fan speed settings, it has a screen lock function to ensure your unit will not power on while you clean it with a damp cloth. A delayed shutoff function keeps the fans on for an additional 2 min. After you are done cooking ensure all the smoke and odor are removed from your kitchen. You can also wave at the hood to turn it on and off for ease of use. Two powerful LED lights power light up your cooktop so you can see your food as you cook. Cleaning is easy with a large grease tray and removable, dishwasher-safe filter. The range hood will bring a whole new culinary experience to you and your family.

This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is.
