The front apron sticks out over FIVE inches from the cabinet (unless we wanted to modify our cabinet and our counters...which we did not, that was the whole point of buying this sink). It's a shame, it was a really nice sink and far superior to the one we had to buy to find our cabinet/counters. This is a great smaller farmhouse sink that fits standard 30” cabinets . I was worried that it would look too small, since the majority of farmhouse sinks you see advertised are much larger, but it is extremely spacious and fits in proportion to the size of the cabinets. It can be a bit more hassle to keep clean since it is white and not stainless, but the aesthetic is worth it. People complement it all the time!
