Great product we purchased the 12x20 said you will need 6 people for 14 hours, I did it in 16 hours by myself the only part I needed a quick hand with was putting up the 4 posts once I had those up I was off to the races directions were very clear few confusing parts but nothing that wasn't fixable, its sturdy and well built all screws lined up with pre tapped holes and it looks great at the campground, 3 hours after completing it we got a thunderstorm with heavy winds, we stayed dry under there, I was 100% leary of it coming from wayfair but I am impressed with it anyone complaining about it should just hire someone to build it because no issues seeing i did 98% of the building of it myself.. Our Pergola arrived in 3 long boxes. One of the boxes had a large taped up hole on the wide side. After doing the inventory we realized all the hardware was missing from the box with the hole I contacted Wayfair to try and get the hardware. They were fantastic! Great communication. They bent over backwards to ensure we received what we were missing. We ended up receiving an everything we needed. It was tricky at times to put it up. Once we figured thins out it went smoothly. Im somewhere between 4 and 5 on this. The packaging is horrible so many parts were damaged. Wayfair gets a 5 out of 5 for getting replacements ordered for me quickly. The replacements were packed just as poorly so some got damaged as well but they sent extras so it was not a problem. Sent from the manufacturer so none of that is Wayfairs fault. Instructions were just okay. Not always super clear. Some bolts really wanted to cross thread. Im happy with the look and function. Its not going to keep every drop of water out in a storm but itll do an adequate job. It could be a little sturdier but I dont think you can find better for the price. Im telling everyone about Wayfair customer service. I expected to have to contact the manufacturer myself and be lucky to get a response. This is a great pergola! I love that it provides an area of shade on my back porch without blocking the sunlight coming into my house completely. The roof itself is light filtering, which is great because it’s not completely blacked out. I love the curtains and mash liner so that I can enclose it if I need to or keep it open. The installation itself was not accurate according to the instruction pamphlet. It only needed two people, but took between six and eight hours to assemble. The pergola roof is designed with two separate louvered roofs that can be opened at a 90° angle and swivel closed to 0°, providing maximum control over the weather elements. For the most part this pergola is everything I could have hoped for. Absolutely in love with the look and feel of our patio after installing this. Putting it together is a lot of work so come prepared! The sound on the roof as it rains is so relaxing. We have had extremely high winds with no issues but it has not gone through hail or snow yet so I can’t speak on that currently.
