I LOVE IT!!! You HAVE to follow the instructions if you want it to work properly! I do use a long extension cord, but it has to be the same guage as the tub cord and do not coil it (keep it as straight as possible). It took all night to heat the first time because the water was so cold; but it did get to 104 degrees and held. It was actually too hot for me and I had to turn it down! The jets are WONDERFUL! For a small back yard city space where they can't get a semi in to deliver a regular hot tub, this was a perfect solution!! We have converted our garage into a “hang out” spot with a pool table and karaoke machine etc. We love hanging out in there. Unfortunately, it is not connected with our central heat/air system. We did have a smaller window a/c unit that was just ok, but this one is a game-changer! It has a/c AND heat! Year-round comfort! It’s powerful enough to cool our entire garage (and we live in the South-so it definitely has its work cut out for it). The heater doesn’t exactly heat the whole room when it’s super cold out, but it definitely takes the chill out of the air and warms it sufficiently to make it possible to use the room in winter. We love it! The remote is handy and the timer feature is awesome. It is well-made and the as easy to install. We had to order a sleeve to slide it into, but it was very simple. This arrived very quickly and was packaged very securely so it arrived in perfect condition. It's much heavier than I expected, but that's a good thing since you don't want this tipping over. There was no assembly, so from opening the box to getting it going was quick and easy. So far, it works as expected. The remote has a lot of useful functions including turn off and on the lights at night to reduce the brightness for light sleepers. A few things to know beforehand.
