It does what it should. No plastic odor, inflated faster than I expected (deflated easily and quickly too), and for the price, being able to use the inflated with my paddleboard is a big bonus. Because I have an SUV, my biggest concern is that this is quite thick so it is difficult to climb into the back seat of a vehicle that is already tall, with the need to use the door jamb to step in, but limited headroom to get on to the mattress and crab walk my head to the far end of thr back seat. And Im only 55. The textured top material also made the crawl harder. As far as the inner dip where the backs of the seats and the base of the seats join, this mattress does nothing to balance out the difference. You are still going to get sucked into the back of the bench seat. I think this is better for a sedan, and if I were to do it again, would buy an inflatable mattress for the back of the SUV. These are amazing. We have used them for camping and they’re incredible. Right now they’re in my living room being used as “furniture” while we wait for a new couch to arrive . Mine arrived in a dark gray or black color even though the product photos showed blue. The color difference does not bother me, but it may matter to some customers. One of the best features is that the mattress and the two supporting legs have separate air chambers. This allows the legs to be inflated when using it across a vehicle’s back seat, or left deflated when placing the mattress on a flat surface such as the ground or floor. It also comes with a useful set of accessories, including two inflatable pillows, two eye masks, two patch kits, a storage bag, and a pump with three different nozzle sizes. Inflation was fairly straightforward, and the mattress fit nicely in the back seat of our vehicle. The reason I am giving it four stars rather than five is the comfort level. It is not nearly as comfortable as the standard air mattresses I already own, and I would not choose it for regular sleeping. However, I got it as an emergency or travel option in case my family or I ever need to rest or sleep in the car for a few hours or even overnight. It could definitely do the job in a pinch, and children may find it more comfortable than an adult would. I enjoyed using this air conditioner on a 4-hour trip in June. My mini cargo van AC was out, and this kept me from dying of heat stroke. It didn't fill the cargo van with cool air, but with the spout pointed toward me, it made the space you bearable. The Sunjoy cycles on and off. I could not find a rhyme or reason to why it was cycling. It seems when the temperature is too high ( 95+), it does not work. I would roll the windows down slightly, and it would cycle back on around 88 degrees. I ran the air conditioner on the Oupes Mega 1. When the compressor is on, it is using just over 200 watts. I never saw it go above 250 watts, but it did stay slightly lower. It uses a few watts even when the compressor is not operating. I think it is because of the thermostat sensors. It would be really nice if it could run on 12 volts instead of only AC. My Oupes uses some watts just having the 120 volt plugs on. Finally, the Sunjoy is much larger than I anticipated.
