I definitely agree with thought this air conditioner was what was advertised. I have always wanted to try a portable air conditioner. I should have thought it through because i had a 10000 BTU window unit that kept our room cool. Easy to set up, cools a large bedroom very quickly. Had some difficulty getting the window panel to seal, but solved that by purchasing a length of foam pipe wrap - the kind that is already cut (see photo) and put a length of that along the top and bottom of the window panel. It is extremely mobile and can be easily set up in almost any indoor location and is most commonly used in computer/server rooms, bedrooms, classrooms, and garages/workshops.

Very happy with this purchase. For a dual hose air conditioner I think this is a good middle of the road option for places like where I live (nor cal) where humidity is not an issue. I did try to use a hose attachment which wasn’t readily available for this unit and it did leak. However the bottom drain works perfectly. The caveat with this machine is that you absolutely cannot lose the remote otherwise you cannot operate the unit. You can only turn on and off from the main unit but no operation.
