This product was just as described. The blue wrapping was easy to remove and did a great job of protecting the surface. Installation went well but took some time. The vent hose was very large and had to be reduced to fit properly through the ceiling. The lights illuminate the kitchen with a warm light perfect for leaving on during the night for nightime visits to the fridge. The fan is too loud even on the lowest setting. So far so good. The installation was tough as the template supplied for the alignment of the screw holes on the back didn't really work. We had to modify the holes on the back. I like this range hood it serves its purpose pretty well it is a little loud. we had a difficult time installing it because to me the instructions were not very clear we end up damaging the inner chimney and had to reorder and it took forever and then they sent us the wrong one then the right one was on backorder so it took a while to get a replacement part. We purchased s home with an electric range, yuck! After having a gas line put in we waited for this little gem to arrive. The first one was quite a hiccup, taking over a month for us to get a replacement. The original one showed up pretty damaged as well as the box. Thank you, Wayfair, for stepping in. It was somewhat of a tight squeeze to get install. Though here we are and it’s beautiful. 30 to 60 seconds to get the air out of the lines for your first gas burner to light (lightning bolt is at the high setting for lighting). I just love the control you have with gas versus electric burners. My first meal on it were over-medium eggs. All four legs can be turned to level out. Also, check each leg for tightness before you install it. All of ours were very loose. The oven light and the front blueturquoise light are both buttons to the right of the oven door. The convection oven fan is to the left of the oven door. The oven racks are made well. I can’t wait to make a turkey in it this holiday.
