The two-tone appearance of the forged steel is a result of the warm glow from the halogen bulbs when lit. All Hubbardton Forge products are hand-crafted to last one at a time in Vermont.

Beautiful fixture and great quality -the glass orbs are heavy like crystal balls. What the photo doesn't reveal, however, is that the orbs sit on a shelf (so the wall plate is actually L-shaped) that protrudes 5 inches from the wall. The tub is very deep. The length of the tub is only 5 ft minus the large edge around the back of the tub. A tall person may find it a bit tight. All was in working order. Our only disappointment which is why I didn’t rate it five stars was it came poorly packaged. The tub was just sitting in the box, nothing to protect the corners, nothing wrapped.
