I’m not sure why Wayfair refers to these luncheon-size or salad plates as “chargers.” They are definitely salad-sized plates and pair beautifully with Lenox’s British Colonial dinner plates, both the Bamboo and the Tradewind versions. And they are the perfect choice for this “tropical” time of year, on a table with placemats of woven grasses or faux jungle leaves. The look is reminiscent of India Hicks style in her Bahamas home, set amidst palm trees and in mountainous terrain overlooking blue waters and sailing ships. I ordered 6 of the side chairs in green. The chairs are a nice heavy weight and the color is beautiful. They have just the right amount of distressing.
