Looks very clean and modern, it was easy to install for two DIYers after watching ProLine video on YouTube. Sounds reasonable in our open plan kitchenhouse. Even though the shroud is wide, the air guide behind it on top of the motor doesnt leave a lot of space for the electrical outlet, so I recommend placing the outlet higher and off to the side.. The EFW-LD heater was designed specifically for Assisted Living Facilities, Daycare Centers, Memory Care Centers, or any facility that has high risk occupants, where temperatures should not exceed 120 degrees. These facilities can benefit from replacing high density heaters, especially where required by code to keep their patients safe. Heaters can be ganged together to work on one thermostat if higher output is required.

Proline prov wall mounted range hood or under cabinet range hood full variable speed, heat lamps, baffle filters and dimmable 50-90 watt LED lights. This range hood does not include a pre-installed blower, but works with any variable speed blower.

I ordered this hood because it had the features I wanted (LED lights, warming lights, no blower, and baffle filters). I wanted an inline blower to reduce noise in the kitchen, and this was one of the few hoods with no blower inside the hood. I think they sent me a unit that had been returned because not all of the parts were included, and the parts that came with it were not packaged properly and secured inside the box. The hood itself was secured inside the box with the molded foam frame surrounding it, and the baffle filters were in a small cardboard box, but that and everything else was just tossed into the hood. The first thing I noticed was that the housing for one of the heating lamps was bent. This was probably caused by the heavy cardboard box containing the two baffle filters. It was unsecured and just rolling around inside of the hood as were the two LED bulbs and the metal grease tray (which had scratched the inside of the hood). I called Customer Service about the bent housing, and they promptly sent me a replacement. Then when my contractor started to install it, we realized that we should have gotten a transition to put on the top where the hood connects to the duct. I called customer service to get a transition, and they sent me two more housings for the heat lamps. So I called them back about the transition and also asked if I should have gotten some sort of bracket to hang the hood on the wall. This time they sent me a transition (which was too small) and a bracket that we still haven't figured out where it might go. Both of these items must have been for a different model. So this time I called Proline directly, and they sent me the correct transition. I still didn't have any installation instructions, so my contractor and I watched several videos on the Proline web site. Then when my contractor installed the duct and blower in the attic, he couldn't get the motor to work on the blower. I called Wayfair Customer Service again, and they promptly sent me a replacement blower. My contractor finally got it installed yesterday, and now the rheostat knob doesn't work for the blower, so I don't have variable speed. It's either ON or OFF. Right now I don't care. I just want to use my hood and do some cooking. My backsplash has a warming shelf, so I think I'll enjoy using the warming lights to keep food warm on the shelf.. Cynthia. Memphis, TN.
