This agave steak was such a pleasant surprise. The leaves feel mostly real and from a distance it looks extremely real. You will notice in the photos that the print on each leaf is exactly the same so that part makes it look a bit more artificial when you’re looking up close. All metal cactus sculpture. True to height. Looks great in our desert landscape backyard. The problem I had was that upon opening the box, one of the yellow stems was broken off. Took a picture for the return. No problem, Wayfair sent a replacement out immediately. Surprised they didn’t want the broken one returned. They said to 1. keep it, 2. donate it, or 3. throw it away. Well we kept it and my wife just used the broken pieces elsewhere in her garden. To protect it from our blazing sun here, I sprayed it with a clear coat of sun protection. Will have to wait til the end of summer to see how it holds up. If it wasn’t for the first one being broken, I would have rated 5 stars, but 5 stars for the speed of the replacement.. B. Newhouse. This Metal Agave Plant does grow on you. I live in Arizona where most plants do not survive the harsh dry seasons. I purchased 2 of these for my front yard. The make-shift packaging was disappointing since the leaves were poking through the box. Some of the leaves were bent and some were scraped. I managed to unbend them. The color is not as shown. Their photo shows a matt patinated pastel turquoise but it's really a glossy bold turquoise color. On the bright side I did appreciate the fullness of the leaf arrangement. I've seen others and these are much better quality. I also liked the size. It does look nice in the yard and the best part is no watering. This little faux cactus beauty has added some great charm to my fireplace. I placed it beside another cactus I bought on Wayfair. It comes in a black hard plastic pot. It is strong & wide enough to hold it without tipping over. However, to make it a little more southwestern I added a Talavera pot and some rocks to it. The coloring is not solid but has light and dark shades that flow within each branch. I think because of it, it gives it a more realistic look to it. It's 27 inches or 2 feet 3 inches.
