My family and I love this refrigerator! We’ve had it for about 6mo now, and since it’s time to replace the water filter, I wanted to also leave a review. My old fridge, a Kenmore, started popping the circuit breaker after only 5 years. This new LG is fabulous! Very nice looking wine refrigerator. Seems to be holding the set temperatures, but only time will tell how well it holds up overall. Keeping my fingers crossed that it lasts for many years to come. The reason for 4 stars is because when it was delivered they did not remove the packaging or the pallet it was on. I assumed since I paid to have it delivered to my room of choice that they would unpack it for me, but they did not. Luckily my husband and I, with the help of my brother-in-law, were able to get it off of the pallet and remove all of the packaging. If I lived alone, though, I would have had to hire someone to help me or try to bribe the delivery guys, I guess. Also I wish the shelves had a tiny bit more space between them, as it’s kind of a tight fit for some of the bottles. So far, so good. We wanted a 48” built-in fridge to replace our 24-year-old GE Monogram. Looked for one with size and reliability being most important. Did not want bells & whistles, so this one was as close as we could get. Wish we could have purchased it without the huge ice maker that we very rarely use and without internet connectivity. Shelves are a tiny bit less deep than the last refrigerator, but it’s not too much of a problem. It’s working, keeps the food safe, and is very attractive. I like it but it’s really weird to me to have such a nice appliance that doesn’t have an in the door ice and water dispenser. This refrigerator is very stylish. We bought a counter depth.They are smaller but this one is very well appointed. The drawers slide so nice. Has a Deli drawer and a Butter keeper. Which most refrigerators no longer have. Helps to keep everything organized.The freezer has 2 drawers and really nice wire shelves on the door that bend out.
