Many parts in the first couple of steps are located inside a box, inside the main part of the grill. I did not see them until I was further into the assembly. But overall, the assembly was fairly simple, and the directions were clear and easy. We just used our new grill for the first time this past weekend. Have not assembled the grill yet am waiting until we get to yhe lake but in the past we have have not had any issues with the assembly, parts or quality. Took about 2.5 hours to put together. There is a hanging wire under (in the middle) that was lingering but I called and found out it was not important. One of the pieces arrived a bit bent but nothing crazy. The quality seems pretty solid, though we have not turned it up as the weather has been rainy lately. Good build. Purchased 2018 from Lowe’s. Second and third purchases from Wayfair over the past year. This IS the grill you want if you don’t want flame ups. The refrigerators are really really solid.
