Easy to install, product is intuitive, and lighting on knobs/under unit are awesome. One element that is lacking is the back hi g design. This unit is designed to be built in, and as such costs 4x what a normal Blackstone unit does. The hinge configuration creates a gap on the back edge which is not an ideal transition to your top. This is a nice little cook top. I call it that because I didn’t notice that it isn’t a grill grate, but is a flat wrought iron cooktop. Nice and heavy, so it won’t warp. Angled slightly so grease drains away to a grease box below. The assembly instructions were easy to follow and contained all the pieces. There were a couple things that didn’t line up. The axel for the wheels was made backwards so the metal loop prevented it from standing properly. I flipped it over, but then only 2 of the 4 screws lined up. There were a couple other misalignments, but still stands sturdily. My camper has 2 - 20lb propane tanks, so I can use the spare one on this. (IE it doesn’t need anything extra) The burners lit right away. Overall, it’s a nice little cooktop to bring camping with me. Great value for the price.. Anonymous. Sun Aug 09 2026
