I bought the 80 gallon without the mixing valve to save a bit of money. I have a family of four adults and two children as well as a tenant so five adults in total in approximately 2000 sq ft of home. Three bathrooms one dishwasher which we frequently use and a washing machine. I also have a recirculating pump that turns on in the morning so the kids don’t have to wait for warm water. Other than when we first filled it I have only ever used eco mode and have never had to switch to another mode to recover. I thought about whether I needed the mixing valve so I could heat the water hotter and have even more capacity but the mixing valve would not have been compatible with my recirculation setup according to my plumber and it makes sense as the heater would then be constantly heating cold water for no reason. So far that extra capacity the mixing valve buys has not been necessary. I switched from a gas water heater to electric because I have solar and there was an incentive program. My gas billed was halved in the winter time and in spring and summer is nonexistent. Electricity consumption is so low it barely makes a change at least when I monitor consumption in the solar app. So I totally buy the super high efficiency ratings. Water comes out as hot as desired. The app is a bit buggy and the WiFi connectivity is just okay. The heater is about 60 feet away from my WiFi with one door and it disconnects a lot. Seeing consumption on the app is nice but not always possible with the WiFi connectivity. I suppose people who need to change the modes more frequently would use the other features but I have just always been on eco. Noise is supposed to be one of the lowest there is. I personally was not expecting to hear anything but perhaps as a result of how it was installed with bracing it vibrates other structures which amplify the noise? I can definitely hear a low drone in my garage. It’s not bothersome and fades to background eventually. But I would definitely caution anybody who has to put their heater in living spaces to insulate that mechanical room well. Once my garage door is closed I can barely hear it but it was a bit more than I expected.. Jonnnn. California. Mon May 18 2026

I didnt read properly.this is a smart toilet with NO bidet. Kind of annoying but I think I purchased on impulse. It works great but I will say the flush is STRONG, almost too strong. women need to close the seat fast or getting a bit of spray. It looks nice and I really like the night light.. Stephanie M. Received the GE 65gallon water heater with flexcapacity today (240v model). I did the installation by myself however the GE water heater is heavy. Luckily i got some help from my friend to set the water heater heater in place. The GE water heater is a little noisy when the heatpump kicks in (hopefully i did not get the malfunction one) i will observ the noise for a couple of days.. Anonymous. Fri Jul 17 2026

GE Profile™ GEOSPRING™ Smart Hybrid Heat Pump Water Heater 50-gallon - 240V

GE Profile Hybrid Heat Pump Water Heater has been installed for about 5 weeks. Delivery was superb, delivered to my basement as scheduled in three days from date of order. Installation by plumber was without issue. Has been functioning very well since installation. Extremely low electric use and not very loud. It does keep the basement cooler, but that's not an issue.. Automatic flush-on-leave technology eliminate the need to touch surfaces. Control flushing with the intuitive remote or side buttons: choose between powerful full flush or water-saving half flush, saving up to 30% water without sacrificing performance.

The plumbing for the inlet was made for a copper pipe. I guess that is the standard in china. If you have a pex then you have to find a way to connect a copper to the pex. Also the ahutoff valve only need to be opened half way to reduce the flushing pressure.shut off valve. Alexander. Dix Hills, NY. Mon Aug 31 2026

50-gallon - 120V - Smart Hybrid Heat Pump Water Heater with FlexCapacity

This performs exactly as well as my previous water heater, but with vastly increased efficiency. Given that I had to replace the water heater anyway, the added cost for the heat pump over the standard electric 120v will pay for itself in less than a year, and I will have it for at least another decade. It is MUCH taller than a standard water heater and requires room above it and around it to operate the heat pump. Also, the GE app is clunky (at best). It is not letting me set up a schedule to conserve even more energy, so I'll just have to make do with way more efficient instead of extra-way more efficient.. Nuri. Omaha, NE. Wed Apr 29 2026

The Moen Flo Shutoff installs on your home's main water line to monitor flow, pressure, and temperature 24/7, and automatically shuts off your water if it detects a leak, before it causes serious damage. Most water devices wait for a leak to happen, then send you an alert. The Flo Shutoff works differently. It proactively runs daily MicroLeak tests to find small drips, high pressure, and freezing conditions before they cause damage. When something is seriously wrong, it doesn’t just notify you, it automatically shuts off your water. A third-party LexisNexis study found homes with a Flo Shutoff saw up to a 96% reduction in water damage claim events. Stay in control from anywhere with the Moen Flo App, and add a FloProtect plan for extended warranty coverage and insurance deductible support. Because the Flo Shutoff installs in-line on your main water supply, professional installation is recommended. Water damage is the most underestimated threat inside a home; more common than fire and more costly than theft. Moen Flo exists to change that. We prevent loss, one drip at a time.

This is awesome. Frequently leaks are stopped with this shutoff. After paying 1,600 for a preventable pipe leak, this pays for itself. Karnik. Fri Sep 25 2026
