Works well but one of the laminated wood pieces came with a large chip. I right away called support and they were kind and helped me file an online report and I included a photo. This is a fantastic fire pit and a really great value. I saw similar styles for $1000 and feel the look and function of this one is very similar and just as good. The tank cover is a nice addition and also serves as a side table. Set up was quick and easy. It gives off a good amount of heat. The color says black but I would call it more slate which I really like. The cover for the flame area is also a nice feature as you can then use it as a table. I have to say that I am absolutely in love with this fire pit and the table that hides the propane tank. It is well-made and absolutely stunning. It does produce quite a bit of heat even in open areas. The only thing I do not like is that it is very low to the floor. If you were wanting to use it as a table, I would recommend using a riser underneath to lift it off the floor, even like to round cylinder outdoor tables that are maybe 20 inches tall would look cute and some plants underneath I do give it a five star rating and I highly recommend for purchase. I really appreciate this outdoor propane fireplace. The directions were clear and it was easy to assemble. Once set up, it fired right up and gives off great heat. The only note I would share is that there were two small dents in the metal panels. I do not attribute that to Wayfair, but likely to the delivery process. Overall, I would absolutely recommend it. The table is very nice , sturdy and easy to assemble. The fire feature works great and the adjustable flame height is fantastic.
