The shipment packaging is extremely well done and even though there was damage to the boxes, the product was sufficiently protected had no damage due to shipping. The 12x20 pergola I ordered is close to 1000 pounds shipping in 7 boxes so the heaviest single box is about 150 lbs so two people are needed to move it around. The instructions recommended 4 people for the install. I had my brother to help but due to the weight I wanted 6 people (one at each post) to move the assembled product to minimize damage to the frame. High quality parts all around but because it’s all aluminum that is great for lower weight but it is still 1/2 ton of weight that needs to be moved around during an installation. The item was initially backordered and I was worried I would not receive it at all because when I ordered it the price was so low. However, it finally ship. When it arrived one of the boxes was damaged and one of the posts in that box had a dent in it. Another box had a hole in it and some of the screws needed must have fell out. I reached out to the vendor through Wayfair. At first, they wanted to give me a credit which would do me no good. It looks like it will be a couple of weeks to receive the parts. Will update the review if I can once I have it all put together. It is finally finished and looks great. It took awhile to get the damaged/missing parts but the vendor did come through. It is nice to be able to use the controls to open and close the roof. It would be nice to be able to do the same for the side screens. Sadly, you can only use the controls to open and close them.. This gazebo is excellent. Assembly took time but as long as you follow all steps everything goes well .My wife and I had to get a couple people to hold things so I could put on the roof trusses.The louvers work great.I even bought a smaller matching gazebo for the bbq area. Don’t forget the step with the glue or it will leak and is a hassle to fix. All good now no leaks at all. Hanging the curtains was a bit of a learning curve to get in the right order. But once you do it’s pretty easy. One zipper started to rip already but we were able to stich it up no problem. Overall this is a great gazebo. I wish they would toss in a handful of extra screws as you always seem to lose or strip out a few. The extra height with the peak in the middle is great.. Bryan. AB. Sat Aug 30 2025
