The bed came with a cutter for the plastic that was pretty cool. It expanded fairly quickly but it takes at least 48 hours before you can use it. As shown this was after 72 hours and it expanded very nicely except for one corner as you can see it did not fill its almost as if there is no fabric behind that area. This mattress is awesome, not only is it so comfortable but has a cooling Hybrid gel topper part that supports your shoulders and helps with back pain. My doctor told me to get rid of my too soft mattress and to get a good support one and this is perfect. Mine is a full size and the mattress is 12” deep. When you open the mattress it slowly starts to hiss as it starts to unfold and when it is fully unwrapped it pops to its full size. It suggest to wait a full 72 hours to sleep on it for it to be at it’s best fullness and I did that.
