We’ve had a less than average stove for quite some time. It was getting the job done but we didn’t really know what we were missing. This thing is amazing! I just love my new cooktop. The design makes it really easy to clean. In terms of performance, I noticed that cook times are a little bit shorter. The gas dial has a wide range, so I can go from very low to high flame. Also having an additional burner is great. I can have multiple meals going at the same time. This is my first induction cooktop. Didn’t know what to expect, but I got to say, it is wonderful. It heats quickly and cooks evenly at different temperatures. The controls are easy to see and use. It has different settings, like simmering that works great. I really like the configuration of the controls as well. Did I mention how nice it looks on our counter, picture attached. When I got the cooktop it came with all the necessary instructions and warnings including how not to scratch the ceramic top. This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. A few years ago we moved into a 55+ community in central Florida and it came with a wimpy little gas cooktop that by moving my heated pan, I melted one of the knobs. I couldn't take that, so I ordered the Fotile 30" 5-burner cooktop with that magnificent central tri-ring burner for my wok and have absolutely loved it ever since. I really like the placement of the burners and the additional griddle and wok ring. What I want to do now is get a replacement tri-ring burner. The brass rings are just not easy to clean, but if that is the worst thing I could say about this cooktop, then you did an outstanding job! Thank you so very much. The overall quality of the range has been excellent so far. We get compliments about it from all our guests and it really is a statement piece in the center of our kitchen. The only grip I have is that the burners do not turn down enough and the wok burner makes a strange humming sound at any level above 5 when any pan is placed above it. We are used to cooking with stainless cookware and the only usable burner for cooking on lower heat is the simmer burner. The others are just too intense. The grates are really heavy duty.
