The arbor is beautiful and strong. I gave it 4 stars because there is an issue. The lattice is made of very thin cedar (less than 1/4 of an inch) and it is stapled together. A few or the staples came loose during assembly and will need to be redone. I am considering adding stronger cedar boards on the sides to strengthen it. At this price point, I think the manufacturer should have used stronger wood for the lattice. There were also a few bumps and marks, but these were minor. This is a great piece of outdoor working furniture. It is made from cedar and smells wonderful when unpacking and putting together. I may have to make it my new best friend and sit my porch rocker closer to it and enjoy the fragrance! I am happy with it. The color blends with my house color well right out of the box. Easy to put together but hard to get out of the box because of the foam filling, but the foam did the trick. No damages whatsoever. I wanted to use this more as a place to hold outdoor utensils, plates, etc. for our patio. This is truly more of a potting bench. It is not waterproof. I think water could get in pretty easily through the way the planks are constructed. It was easy to put together. It is a bit on the rustic side (drawers are clunky). I was on the fence about purchasing online based on reviews about the arrival of the shipment being damaged by some others. But after we got out of the box and evaluated everything look to be in good shape. I used a caulking gun with liquid nails along with all of the hardware kit to put it together so it is pretty sturdy for what it is . That being said my wife is happy so therefore I got off fairly inexpensively for a local alternative of a tool shed for $2000. Best to have two people or three people to make sure everything lines up and just take your time and we put it together within less than two hours with the caulking gun of liquid nails.. Greg. Our included joiner clips are great for connecting multiple purchased panels and partitioning off a larger area. Space between slats provides efficient airflow and included spacers help with the perfect placement of slats. The real wood, water-based stain panel design gives this privacy screen a stylish look in any yard. We recommend applying a stain every 6 months to maintain optimal color. Transparent or semi-transparent exterior stains will maintain the natural wood look, while solid stains will cover more of the natural wood grain. If the product goes longer than recommended without staining, it will need to be sanded and may require a semi-solid or solid stain. Our powder-coated aluminum posts prevent rusting and provide stability to your screen. This screen is no-dig and very easy to install without tearing up your yard or leaving large holes behind.
